MEET ZAK WARNER, DANIEL MOQUET FRANCHISE OWNER IN ASCOT
Technically, Zak is just the next to join a Europe-wide network of more than 400 franchisees, but as the first to join the brand in the UK, his story is especially interesting. While the franchise was brought to Britain by landscaping entrepreneur, Mark Tomlinson, who now acts as their UK Franchise Director, Zak was the first to see the potential of the franchise for himself as an independent business owner.
Unlike the majority (88%) of Daniel Moquet franchisees who had no experience in the industry before starting, Zak does actually come from a background in landscaping. As he took on more responsibilities for the firm he worked for, and gained invaluable experience as both a landscaper and a project manager, he soon became keen to run a business of his own.
“I was considering going full-time with my own business when I met Mark, who introduced me to the opportunity to become the first Daniel Moquet franchisee in the UK. “ Zak told us. “The idea of building a business with the backing of a trusted brand and a proven system really appealed to me.”

“One of the biggest reasons I chose this franchise is because of the comprehensive training and ongoing one-to-one support from Mark, which has been invaluable. I shadowed him, learning the inner workings of the business model and gaining insights into managing a successful business.
I also visited Mayenne in France for technical training, where I learned the Daniel Moquet methodology in detail. This included specific techniques for designing and installing their unique products, optimizing workflows, and improving efficiency.”
