Rather than continuing with what was still a very successful business format, Daniel decided to embrace the future and introduce cutting edge solutions which could improve and enhance driveways, pathways and patios in a way which would place him at the forefront of the market as a highly specilialised business. By partnering up with leading industrial companies in the field, Daniel Moquet was able to develop a unique working method and create ground-breaking, environmentally-friendly products to revolutionise hard landscaping.
Through a sustained focus on stunning, high-end products, customer satisfaction, and continuous development, the new direction of the brand was a huge success.
Creating a global family
The Daniel Moquet story is very much one of family, and it has never lost that essential heart. In 2003, Daniel decided to duplicate this successful, new business model in different key markets, starting a second contracting company with his daughter Pauline as the driving force. His family members are still at the core of the business today, and every employee is treated as part of that trusted and valued inner circle, and this sense of inclusion and connectivity was the main reason behind the brand’s decision to expand as a franchise.
By focusing on empowering others to enjoy the same success they have, the Daniel Moquet franchise has grown to 400 branches across Europe as it celebrates more than 20 years as one of the continent’s most successful network. Now led by Daniel’s two daughters, the franchise turns over more than £240million a year, and employs over 2500 staff.
